Hiking Trails

Five trails varying in length from 1km to 4km  are available for your hill-climbing pleasure.  In fact, you'll discover why the earliest french speaking settlers named this place "Montagne de Bois," Wood Mountain.

Tai chi Retreats
The scheduling of these retreats depends on two factors:
  1. The availability of instructors and
  2. how much interest is "out there".
If you're interested in learning tai chi while camping here, call or email and then check the website occasionally for announcements.

These are now held in Wood Mountain at the Community Hall, starting 2009.

Rules
To ensure an enjoyable camping experience for everyone, here are the rules of the campground:
  1. Please no all-night party animals.
  2. Open fires allowed with permission only in designated areas.
  3. Drive slowly on the gravel road, to spare your vehicle and the wildlife.
  4. If you encounter a closed gate, please close it behind you.
  5. Our dirt roads are impassible after a heavy rain, so call ahead please.
